I’ve always been a bit of a troublemaker. As a kid, I was constantly getting into mischief and getting scolded by my parents. But I never really saw it as a bad thing – I just saw it as part of who I was.
So when I was approached about playing the role of Shameless character Tami Tamietti, I didn’t hesitate. I knew that this role would allow me to tap into my mischievous side and create a truly memorable character.
And boy, did I have fun with it!
Over the course of the show’s run, Tami became known for her wild antics and outrageous behavior. She was the life of the party, always up for a good time – no matter what the consequences.
But as the show progressed, Tami’s storyline took a more dramatic turn. She began to struggle with addiction and mental health issues, which ultimately led to her downfall.
It was a challenging role to play, but one that I’m very proud of. It was an honor to be able to tell Tami’s story and help raise awareness about these important issues.
