The most important dimension you need to consider when looking for these heaters includes the bands inside diameter and thickness. As a rule, the cylinder to be heated needs to have the same diameter as the inside part of the heater.


Typically, insulation controls the amount of heat lost to the environment during the heating process. The different choices of insulation you can find include no insulation, mica insulation, fiberglass insulation, ceramic insulation, and mineral insulation. You will find so many products that have more than one type of insulation. For example, heaters that are equipped with ceramic insulation can resist both chemicals and heat.
